How do Lumatone's Pitch and Mod Wheels work?

A familiar sight on most keyboard controllers, pitch and mod wheels were a late addition to Lumatone after receiving a barrage of community feedback.

Although it's hard to imagine Lumatone without them now, the original Lumatone was designed without pitch or modulation wheels. In fact, you can probably still see photography on our website and elsewhere without them. After a successful showing at NAMM, we received a convincing amount of feedback from keyboard players that a pitch and mod wheel were important to them, and thus, we listened.

Our pitch and mod wheels were designed in house, and are made of the same beautiful metal that encases Lumatone. You'll be happy to hear that they function just like any other wheels you've used in the past.

If you're finding your pitch and mod wheels aren't behaving as you'd expect, please read our article about calibrating your pitch and modulation wheels. This will resolve nearly any issue you may be experiencing with their behaviour.
