Lumatone can store up to ten unique mappings without being connected to a computer. These "presets" can be recalled instantly using the ten buttons at the top of your keyboard.

While connected to a computer armed with our Lumatone Editor software, you can manipulate your Lumatone's keys in real time, and send any mapping you like to it.

However, there are many scenarios where you might want to play more than one mapping in a performance setting, without a connected computer. For this, we included ten large preset buttons, located along the top of Lumatone.

The buttons are extremely simple to operate. Your Lumatone ships with ten preset mappings, demonstrating a starting point for various tunings and layouts. As you create your own mappings using our Lumatone Editor software, you'll be able to save those mappings to any of the ten preset buttons.

Lumatone Editor allows you to work in Live Mode, which sends the mapping you're currently editing in real time to your connected Lumatone. At any time, you can save the current version of that mapping by holding your desired preset button location down for 5 seconds. The light on the preset button will flash rapidly a few times once it has saved. And there you go, you have successfully saved a mapping to one of your Lumatone's preset buttons!
