As with most manufacturer warranties, our warranty protects you against any and all manufacturer defects or failed parts when the Lumatone is used as intended.
This protects all of the keys, buttons, wheels, and inner workings of the Lumatone. Under normal use, we expect you to get many many years of enjoyment from your instrument during and well beyond the warranty period. However, we'll always have your back.
If anything fails or stops working as designed during the warranty period, we'll cover the cost of repairing or replacing parts. We do not cover the cost of shipping Lumatones back to Toronto, and due to this - depending on the issue, we may work with a local repair person, or if it's simple and you're handy, even walk you through a fix yourself. In worst cases, your Lumatone can be shipped back to us here in Toronto at your cost of shipping, and we'll send your repaired instrument back to you as quickly as possible.
We've received a few questions about what happens in the case of accidental damage like dropping your keyboard, spilling liquid on it, or -- god forbid -- a pet mistakes it for a fire hydrant. Believe it or not, the latter has happened.
In the case of accidental damage or out-of-warranty repairs, we'll work with you directly to fix your keyboard at the lowest possible cost to you. In most cases, we will only charge for parts and won't charge for labour if it is something easy to replace or repair, but the cost of shipping will be your responsibility. Whenever possible, we will work to support repair professionals in your city to work with your instrument locally, avoiding hefty shipping bills or delays.
As with everything, if you have further questions about warranties, shipping, or the ordering process, reach out using the chat button below.
