Is your Lumatone's modulation wheel not working right? Before contacting us, we recommend you try calibrating your mod wheel. This process takes only a few minutes, and is done via our Lumatone Editor software.

  1. Connect your Lumatone to your computer.
  2. Start up the Lumatone Editor application. If you haven't installed it yet, you can download it here.
  3. Ensure your Lumatone has auto-connected by looking for the "Connected" message at the top-right of the application. If it hasn't, click the "auto" button to toggle into manual connection mode, and select the MIDI input and output where your Lumatone is located.
  4. Once connected, click the Settings button, found at the bottom-right of the application.
  5. Click the Calibrate section, and then click the Pith/Mod Wheel tab.
  6. Click Start Calibration.
  7. Turn the mod wheel all the way to the top until you meet resistance. Then, turn it all the way to the bottom until you meet resistance.
  8. Now repeat step 7 for the pitch wheel.
  9. Click End Calibration.

And that's it, you're done! Your pitch and mod wheel should both now be working as expected.
