My Lumatone's Firmware Update Did Not Complete

Maybe your computer crashed during a firmware update, or you accidentally unplugged your Lumatone. In most cases, it's nothing to worry about.

Did Lumatone Editor crash in the middle of a firmware update? Did you accidentally disconnect your Lumatone from your computer? Never fear.

First off, there's a good chance your firmware update completed itself as intended. To find out, connect your Lumatone and start up Lumatone Editor. Click the Settings button in the bottom right of the application, and you should see your current firmware version listed like this:

If the listed version matches the latest version found on our software page, congratulations! Your Lumatone managed to finish updating itself even though things went a little sideways during the update.

If the version is still the old one, this means that the update didn't complete as intended. At that point, run through the firmware update process again.

If you're still having trouble after trying a second time, reach out to us via the chat button below and we'll be happy to figure things out with you. Please take screenshots of various windows if you think it will help describe the problem to us.
